FORMAL COUNTRY GARDEN WITH A TWIST

400M² - ORIENTATION: BACK FACADE SOUTH-WEST

Horseshoe shaped taxus hedges are grand and imposing and quite common in formal country gardens. Because they fit harmoniously with the classical back facade of this majestic home, we decided to restore them as refined monuments of nature. We complemented them with new wintergreen trees all over the property to prevent the neighbors from looking into the garden and the art-deco swimming pool. In addition to the large formal terrace, we wanted to provide a bit of contrast by designing a more informal outdoor area behind the winter garden. And to toss in a playful and eccentric final touch, we inserted tropical plants and palms.
